Vendor Information: Expanding the Circle
This year, NASA is expanding the circle of who may participate as vendors at the University of Iowa Powwow. In addition to traditional spaces reserved for Native arts and crafts vendors, we are inviting nonprofits, community organizations, and mission-driven groups to share information, resources, and materials with attendees.
We recognize that in these times, many people are seeking meaningful connection to one another, place, and the land. By welcoming a broader range of community-centered vendors, we hope powwow attendees leave feeling more grounded, supported, and connected to the communities that sustain them.
Community Vendor Eligibility
Applications are open to:
- Johnson County–based nonprofits, community organizations, or mission-driven businesses
- Regional or Native Nation–based Native-focused nonprofits, community organizations, or mission-driven businesses
Community vendor tables are intended for information-sharing, outreach, and relationship-building rather than commercial sales, unless otherwise approved.
Vendor spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and availability is limited. We encourage interested groups to apply early.
We are grateful to all vendors who help make the powwow a space of exchange, care, and shared responsibility.
